At JustMental, we believe mental health support should be clear, accessible, and part of everyday life. Our Support & Community hub is being built with one goal: to connect people to the tools, spaces, and conversations they need to feel seen, heard, and understood.

This isn’t a charity model; it’s a business-led approach to making mental health support sustainable, innovative, and culturally relevant across Northern Ireland and beyond. Led by Karl Bennett, our vision is to bring together professional resources, peer-to-peer connections, and practical tools in one trusted platform.

what's the plan?

Therapist & Support Directory

We are developing a signposting function that allows people to search and filter therapists and support providers by location, specialism, or type of service. Whether you are looking for counselling, coaching, or specialist support, this directory will make it easier to find the right help at the right time.

Our aim is to remove the barriers that often stop people from accessing mental health care. Instead of endless searching or relying on word of mouth, visitors will have a clear, structured way to find trusted professionals that meet their needs.

This directory will include a broad range of services, from one-to-one therapy to group programmes and wellness coaching. Each listing will be easy to navigate, with details about qualifications, areas of expertise, and practical information like availability and contact options.

safe place to share

Community & Member Spaces

Mental health thrives on connection. That is why we are planning a dedicated private member area where people can share experiences, support one another, and find solidarity without stigma. These spaces will prioritise safety, respect, and real conversations.

The member area will be designed as a supportive hub for individuals, families, and professionals who want a trusted environment to connect. It will include moderated forums, themed discussion groups, and opportunities for peer-to-peer guidance, all aimed at breaking down isolation and creating genuine human connection.

Unlike traditional social media spaces, this community will focus on meaningful engagement rather than noise. Every conversation will be protected by clear standards around privacy and wellbeing, ensuring that members feel safe to speak openly about their experiences.

Practical resources

Tools, Products & E-Commerce

Support comes in many forms. Alongside connection, we are building a suite of practical tools and resources, from digital support to subscription packages and wellness bundles. These products are designed to empower individuals to take control of their wellbeing in a way that fits their lifestyle.

Our vision is to offer accessible resources that make mental health support part of everyday life. By making these products available online, we ensure they can be accessed anytime, anywhere, without barriers.

Subscriptions and bundles will be designed to grow with the needs of the community. From one-off purchases to ongoing membership packages, individuals and organisations will be able to choose the level of support that works best for them. Everything will be created with sustainability and affordability in mind, ensuring that support remains practical and within reach.

Changing how mental health is supported

The Bigger Picture

JustMental is not about clinical jargon or one-size-fits-all answers. It’s about building a community-driven ecosystem where professional support, peer connection, and everyday tools come together. Our Support & Community page is the foundation of this vision, and it will continue to grow as we do.

We believe that mental health should be understood in the context of real life — the workplace, the home, the community. That’s why our approach combines professional expertise with peer-led insights and accessible tools that people can use day-to-day. This blend of perspectives ensures that support feels both credible and relatable.

Ultimately, The Bigger Picture is about making mental health support part of everyday culture in Northern Ireland and beyond. By removing barriers and creating spaces where people feel heard and supported, we hope to change not only how individuals experience care, but how society as a whole understands and values mental wellbeing.
